Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls：

　　Good afternoon! Before I speak, may I ask you a question? Did you ever have any dreams ? Maybe some of you had good dreams or maybe some of you had bad dreams.Or maybe some never have any dreams. I am pretty sure that you will have the same dream after I finish my short speech. My topic today is “ my life time dream”.

　　Today, I stand here. I feel very excited and proud . First, please allow me to introduce myself. I’m ** and I’m from a small countryside. As we all know that life in the countryside is not easy.

　　In my college most of my classmates who come from the countryside share the same dream: they wish they could live a better life in the city.I could understand their feelings. It is true that life in the countryside is hard and poor.But what if everybody chooses to live in the city, who is going to help those poor farmers? Who is going to bring changes to the place that has nourishes us, a place that I have great feelings ? I cant join my classmates.I have made up my mind to go back to my hometown after graduation. When I was little I had dreamed of ma-ki-ng my hometown a better place.

　　Now a student majored in Computer Science , I’ll try my best to acquire knowledge .In the future, I will devote all my life for my hometown.

　　Where there’s a will, there’s a way. I believe great changes will take place in my hometown.It will become more beautiful.People there will live a better life. I’m a boy from the countryside .I know I have inherited unyielding and unconquerable from farms; I have inherited kind and heartedly like fire .Let’s look forward to the dawn of better days .So now you all know what “My dream” is.It is a beautiful dream and it will become true.

　　Everybody have a dream, because we’re dreamers. In our heart, there is a colorful dream. Sometimes the dream is perfect, sometimes it’s special, sometimes it’s sweet, sometimes it’s yummy.

　　In my dream, there are some children. I always play games with them and enjoy ourselves. There are so many candies, too. Blue candies, pink candies, orange candies, apple candies…How delicious! In my dream, there is a special sky. In our world, the sky is blue, but the sky of my dream is pink, some angels are having fun there. In my dream, white bird can fly high, flowers can sing songs, frogs have a jump race, tomatoes are blue, potatoes are yellow, all the things are different.

　　In my dream, Chinese people, Korean people, Japanese people, Italian people, Spanish people, American people and Russian people are hand in hand. All the people smile for ever. It is a balanced world. .

　　In my dream, everything is wonderful, but our world isn’t like it. So we must like my dream, to let our world get more beautiful!

　　As the saying goes, what wakes you up in the morning is not your alarm clock, but you dream. The future is unknowable, but dream give us the direction some moment maybe the reality is harsh and you are suffering much. If you have a dream, even a very small one, it will light your life in the darkness and keep you hiding from the reality, for dream will give you the energy to fight.

　　However, sometimes it seems that what is practical and sensible does not connect with your most treasured dreams. I am a freshman, indeed my college life is not as colorful as imagined before, all plans and goals just be hung up. Im very afraid that even if I graduated from college, I still couldnt find a job and then had a better life. Faced with the cruel reality, we college students should really make good use of these facilities and learn as much useful knowledge as possible. Then after graduation, we would find its much easier to get a decent job.

　　When I am a little girl, my father gave me two cups filled with soil, he asked me to water one cup every day. Two weeks later, tender leaves appeared in the cup that I watered everyday. Father said to me:“The seed represents for your dream, without sweat and effort, it wont come out no means will your dream turn into reality if you never pay for it. ”

　　From this story I learn that If I intend to full my dreams, must work hard, make efforts, and get prepared, otherwise I will get no possibility to succeed.
